O seu grande objectivo é criar produtos realmente diferenciadores, únicos e com carácter, quebrando a monotonia do produto puramente industrial.
E como o fazem?
Na produção criam uma simbiose entre o artesanal e o industrial. Colhem e usam toda a sabedoria da arte de bem trabalhar o vidro dos seus Mestres Vidreiros e da sua longa história com mais de 250 anos, na Marinha Grande. A isto, juntam a criatividade e a vontade de quebrar as barreiras dos Designers, usando a melhor tecnologia existente na Europa na área da Iluminação.
Por outro lado, usam o seu material, já por si nobre, com outros materiais, também eles, nobres, como os metais niquelados, as madeiras naturais, a cortiça, etc …
Por último, mas talvez o mais importante, usam a sua identidade nacional, a mesma onde encontramos o fado, a paixão, a atitude e a nossa coragem para embarcar em novas direcções.
Processo de fabrico
Todas as suas peças de vidro são fabricadas segundo métodos artesanais e seculares. O conhecimento e domínio da arte de fabricar vidro é algo que se encontra profundamente enraizado na cultura fabril da Marinha Grande, são conhecimentos que passaram de geração em geração, tomando hoje uma dimensão muito pessoal e artística no modo como é abordado o fabrico deste material nobre.

Their most important objective is to create products that are really distinct, unique, with character, breaking away from the dullness of purely industrial products.
How do they do it?
During production, Crisbase creates a symbiosis between what is handcrafted and what is industrial. They gather and use all the knowledge of the art of working with glass from Master Glassmakers and their long history, over 250 years, at Marinha Grande. To this they add creativity and the will for breaking barriers of their Designers, and last but not least, they use the best technology in illumination existent in Europe.
On the other hand, they use their own material, already noble, with other noble materials, like nickel metals, natural wood, cork, etc.
Last and maybe the most important, they use our national identity, the same one where we can find, Fado, passion, attitude and the courage to follow in new directions.
Manufacturing process
All their glass pieces are manufactured according to crafts and ancient methods. The domain of the art of glass making is something that is deeply rooted in the industrial culture of Marinha Grande, this knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation, and nowadays it has taken a very personal and artistic dimension in the way manufacturing this noble material is approached.
