Em 1982, Joaquim Silva fundou a Latoaria Ponte Rol, depois de um longo percurso de aprendizado e experiência na arte de fabricar lanternas.
Desde então que tem vindo a conquistar o seu lugar no mercado, através de uma evolução ao ritmo deste, sempre com o objectivo de o acompanhar e satisfazer.
O transmitir de conhecimentos entre gerações tem sido o segredo da continuidade e progresso desta empresa familiar. Hoje em dia são os filhos do fundador, Joaquim Pedro e Diogo Silva, que dirigem a empresa, tendo como herança um profundo conhecimento da indústria, e sempre com os olhos postos no futuro.
Qualidade e desenvolvimento
Uma das grandes preocupações da empresa é o desenvolvimento da indústria e a divulgação da qualidade dos produtos portugueses.
Como membro da AIPI (Associação dos Industriais Portugueses de Iluminação), desde a data da sua criação em 1997, a Latoaria Ponte Rol tem vindo a dar passos mais largos para atingir o objectivo, devido a uma parceria de onde resultaram vários apoios à internacionalização.
Em 1999, a Latoaria Ponte Rol começou a participar em várias feiras de dimensão internacional, tendo até hoje marcado presença em certames conceituados como a Export Home (Porto), FIAM (Valência), Tektónica (Lisboa), Intercasa (Lisboa), Euroluce (Milão), Maison & Objet (Paris) e Light+Building (Frankfurt).
Com esta aposta, a Latoaria Ponte Rol travou inúmeras relações comerciais com clientes oriundos dos quatro cantos do mundo, exportando para países como Espanha, França, Holanda, Inglaterra, Irlanda, Escócia, Áustria, Suíça, Grécia, Rússia, Letónia, EUA e Kuwait.
In 1982, Joaquim Silva founded Latoaria Ponte Rol, after a long journey of learning and experience in the art of making lanterns.
Since then, the company has been gaining its place in the market through the evolution to the rhythm of it, always with the aim of accompanying and satisfying it.
The transmission of knowledge between generations has been the secret of the continuity and progress of this family business. Nowadays, the sons of the founder, Joaquim Pedro and Diogo Silva, lead the company, having as inheritance a deep knowledge of the industry, always with their eyes fixed on the future.
Quality and development
One of the major concerns of the company is the development of the industry and the dissemination of the quality of Portuguese products.
As a member of AIPI (Association of Portuguese Lighting Manufacturers), since its creation in 1997, Latoaria Ponte Rol has been taking greater steps to reach the goal, due to a partnership that resulted in several support for internationalization.
In 1999, Latoaria Ponte Rol started to participate in several fairs of international dimension, having until today been present in important events such as Export Home (Porto), FIAM (Valencia), Tektónica (Lisboa), Intercasa (Lisboa), Euroluce Milan), Maison & Objet (Paris) and Light + Building (Frankfurt).
With this commitment, Latoaria Ponte Rol has established numerous commercial relations with customers from all corners of the world, exporting to countries like Spain, France, Holland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Russia, Latvia, USA and Kuwait .
