A iluminação tem-se tornado cada vez mais exuberante e pode ser encontrada numa grande variedade de acabamentos e tecidos. As luminárias são pontos fulcrais e podem ser tão importantes como a arte, o mobiliário ou uma palete de tinta interior, pois podem ditar toda a personalidade do espaço.

Segundo a designer da Miller Homes, Jeanette Holmes, era esperado para 2016 uma palete de cores sóbrias em tons de azul, verde, roxo, bege e rosa.

Kerry Kelly, designer de interiores, afirmou que a tendência para 2016 era a transparência. Nada melhor do que chegar a casa depois de um longo dia e encontrar um espaço tranquilo recriado por tecidos sinuosos e materiais brilhantes. Disse ainda que o uso de materiais em camadas tornava perfeita a mistura entre um espaço dimensional e de fluxo livre, levando à harmonia do interior com o exterior.

 

Para ela, durante o ano de 2015 demarcou-se o preto e o branco, padrões neutros e texturas duras, já o ano seguinte revelou um pouco mais de cor. O uso da cor foca-se em jogar com padrões e texturas numa variedade de cores e tons para criar um espaço único e vibrante.

For her, during the year 2015 black and white was marked, neutral patterns and hard textures, and the following year revealed a little more color. The use of color focuses on playing with patterns and textures in a variety of colors and tones to create a unique and vibrant space.
